En bref.
L'IRC est un championnat paralèlle au WRC, initié par Eurosport et ayant l'appui de la FIA. Cette compétition réunit différentes épreuves de prestige, emprunté au calendrier du Championnat d'Europe des Rallyes (Madeira, Ypres Rally, Barnum) ou délaissé par le mondial (San Remo, Safary Rally). La compétition est ouverte aux Super 2000 (voitures entre le S1600 et les WRC), Gp N et Gp A 5/6/7.
